 HUBERT HOWE recently retired from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College of the City University of New York, where he had taught since 1967 In addition to composing, he is now Director of the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival and Executive Director of the New York Composers Circle.

The ensemble of contemporary academic music "Spread spectrum" - winners of international competitions of performers. They performed at international and Russian festivals in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan. Our team has also been presenting multimedia performances since 2019. The artistic Director is composer R. Nizamutdinova. The ensemble consists of winners of international competitions, graduates of conservatories, post-graduate performers-instrumentalists and vocalists. The ensemble specializes in the performance of modern academic music, the repertoire of the group includes works by domestic and foreign composers of the 20-21 centuries and several works of the Baroque era. The ensemble performs with session musicians from Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The electroacoustic duet Nizamutdinova/ Golikov is a musical technological project. The performers of the Duo are participants of international festivals, winners of international competitions, have orders abroad. N. Golikov is a programmer, a sound artist. He performs on modular synthesizers of his own creation. R. Nizamutdinova is a composer, project Manager) Creates synthesis and sound processing on a laptop The genre in which the musicians work is electroacoustic improvisation using the latest technologies. The recorded sounds are modified on the computer, the generated frequencies are layered on them. Different timbres of the modular synthesizer sound are against this background and woven into the electronic sound palette. About the participants. R Nizamutdinova graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory as a composer. She is a participant of international festivals, an a winner of a number of competitions (one of which is sound programming), Rushaniya played her music on 32-channel Acousmonium. Her music was included in radio and youtube compilations in Spain, United Kingdom and USA. The main aim of her participation in different competitions and festivals is to find people who would like to invite her to write for them. Nikolay Golikov Experimental musician, artist, engineer. Main interests are: sound art, science art, tech art. In his setups he often uses chemical, physical and other non-music processes. He graduated SA))_studio educational course "Experimental sound and multimedia technologies" in 2016. As part of Keen Assosiation Moscow collective he developes software for Buchla-modules, stand alone synthesizers and other sound gear. He won the prize as a synthesizer developer as part of the team at the Synthposium festival. The Duo was founded in 2019. In the next few years we hope to win several competitions called "Artist in residence" to work and perform our sound projects in the institutions of the studies of electroacoustic music and technological art in France, Germany and Austria. We are open for commercial invitations to festivals and concerts as performers of avant-garde music and program designers of technological art. Composer/guitarist/rapper/Di.J./producer Gene Pritsker has written over seven hundred compositions, all of his compositions employ an eclectic spectrum of styles and are influenced by his studies of various musical cultures. He is the founder and leader of Sound Liberation; an eclectic hip hop-chamber-jazz-rock-etc. ensemble and co-director of Composers' Concordance and Eclectic Music eXtravaganza. Gene's music has been performed all over the world by many ensembles and performers, including the Adelaide Symphony, MDR Symphony, China Philharmonic Orchestra, Brooklyn, Shanghai and Berlin Philharmonic. Soloists Sarah Chang, Anne Akiko Meyers, Tim Fain, Simone Dinnerstein and Lara St. John. He has worked closely with modern jazz great Joe Zawinul and has orchestrated major Hollywood movies, Including 'Cloud Atlas', for which he also composed his ''Cloud Atlas Symphony’. The New York Times: "audacious...multitalented." The Music Connoisseur: ”dissolving the artificial boundaries between high brow, low brow, classical, popular musics and elevates the idea that if it's done well it is great music, regardless of the style or genre".

 Жизнь Бориса Петровича Юргенсона была совершенно особенной, уникальной жизнью. Борис Петрович изменил ее, выражаясь словами классика, nell mezzo del cammin. К пятидесяти годам став профессором, доктором геолого-минералогических наук, он, правнук знаменитого русского нотоиздателя XIX века, друга Чайковского, Петра Ивановича Юргенсона, встал перед выбором: или возглавить кафедру петрографии, или продолжить семейное дело. И, насколько крутой поворот он совершил в своей жизни, настолько же серьезный поворот ему удалось совершить в ншей музыкальной жизни. Ведь петрография (от греческого πέτρος— камень) — искусство тончайшего среза с минерала. И таким же тонким, природно-объективным срезом с музыкальной жизни Москвы становился каждый концерт в Гостиной Юргенсон. А ведь за 15 лет существования гостиной на Хохловке их прошли сотни. В свою очередь, таким же срезом международной музыкальной жизни оказывался каждый конкурс имени его знаменитого прадеда. Прищуренным, нацеленным в самую суть взглядом естествоиспытателя он глядел на нашу суматошную и сумбурную артистическую среду. И всякий раз точно выхватывал самое главное, и говорил об этом в необычайно точных и емких формулировках. Очень жаль, что его интереснейшие суждения о музыке отрывочны, и теперь их придется собирать по кусочкам. Наши с ним разговоры о путях и судьбах музыки зимой, у горящего камина, и в глуши летних муромских лесов нельзя забыть... Когда в конце 1990-х гг. он пришел в музыку, мало кто верил, что Борису удастся сделать хоть что-нибудь в том застойном болоте, в котором находилась современная музыка в те годы. Но он, при поддержке семьи, упорно шел к своей цели. Состоявшийся в 2001 году конкурс имени П.Б. Юргенсона казался неслыханным чудом. Вкладывая в это свою огромную энергию, прислушиваясь к мнениям крупных музыкантов, Борис организовал первый в России музыкальный конкурс международного масштаба. За 14 лет существования конкурса он открыл несколько звезд европейской величины. Увы, на последнем, восьмом конкурсе ему так и не довелось присутствовать. Он состоялся за девять дней до его кончины. Борис был преданным другом всех музыкантов — от выдающихся до самых молодых и низвестных. Он старался помогать каждому, несмотря на колоссальную занятость. И одновременно мы все были его друзьями и могли обратиться к нему за помощью и советом в любое время. Пять лет назад он взвалил на себя и заботы об издательстве "Композитор", достигнув таким образом своей мечты и поравнявшись со своим знаменитым предком. Увы, слишком мало времени ему отпустила судьба на вторую, музыкальную половину жизни. Сколько интересных проектов, и издательских, и концертных, осталось незавершенными.  - текст Федора Софронова.

Луппов А.Б.), ассистентура-стажировка (Московская государственная консерватория (проф. Леман А.С.). Член СК РФ и РТ, АСМ-2, участник семинаров молодых композиторов в Иваново и в Рузе. Лауреат I Всероссийского конкурса молодых композиторов в 1993 г. (Москва), IV Международного музыкального фестиваля-конкурса эстрадных и джазовых исполнителей «Огни Казани» (2011). Музыка исполнялась на фестивалях: «Европа-Азия», «Муз-Транзит» (Казань), «Московская осень»,«Composer’s Con-cordance» (Нью-Йорк) и др. Соавтор муз. групп «JooF» и «Studium».

 Газинур Рахматуллин (видеохудожник ансамбля Расширение спектра) - свободный художник, работающий в самых разных жанрах: это компьютерное изобразительное искусство, академическая графика и живопись, шоу-видеохроника и неигровое кино, саундмейкинг, иллюстрированные эссе о путешествиях и культуре, фоторепортажи. Родился в 1960 г. Проживает в Казани. Образование техническое. Выйдя с 2004 г. в отставку после службы на инженерных и начальствующих должностях в системе обеспечения безопасности силовых структур, стал заниматься исключительно тем, что нравится: много путешествует и необычно интерпретирует в своих работах реалии нашего мира. Многие сотни его кадров иллюстрируют карту мира Google Earth от Тихого океана до Атлантики и от Арктики до Средиземноморья. Внештатно сотрудничает с рядом СМИ Республики Татарстан.

 Николай Голиков Экспериментальный музыкант, художник, инженер. Основные направления деятельности: саунд-арт, сайнс-арт, тех-арт. В своем сетапе часто использует различные химические, физические и другие процессы. Так, материалом для работы могут стать процессы, происходящие в человеческом теле, или сгорающий в емкости газ. Закончил курсы SA))_studio "Экспериментальный Звук и Мультимедиа Технологии" в 2016 году. В составе проекта Keen Association Moscow занимается разработкой системного программного обеспечения для модулей Buchla-формата, stand-alone синтезаторов и прочих устройств, предназначенных для создания, записи и обработки звука.

Rushaniya Nizamutdinova graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory as a composer and was an instructor of a "Digital technologies in music" course at TISBI University. She is a participant of international festivals, such as Music by women (Columbus, Mississippi, USA 2018,2019, 2020), OUA-EMF 2017 (Osaka University Of Arts, Japan) Electroacoustic Music Festival, Sound Thought (Glasgow, UK), The sound projects festival Zeppelin 2016, 2018 (Spain (on the Internet platform)), Acousmonium (Saint-Petersburg 2018-2019), concerts in Germany (Karlsruhe.ZKM), UK (Oscilliscope. Bangor), Syntposium 5, MusikMesse/Prolight + sound exhibition (Moscow), show (on Resonance FM, London, UK), an a winner of a number of competitions (one of which is sound programming), participant of master classes T. Gorbach (Austria) and GRM (France) (Acousmonium). Music was chosen for performance at Mixtape # IWD in Ireland (DkIT), Russian Sound Art Showcase (exhibition of multichannel works) in Berlin (Germany) in frames of Vorspiel / CTM & transmediale.  Scott D. Miller is a New York City-based composer and the Artistic Director of the Tilted Head Ensemble, which he founded in 2016 Miller has written extensively for various classical ensembles and has long explored diverse genres. He has composed musique concrete, electroacoustic music, experimental jazz, structured improvisation and works in collaboration with poets, dramatists and visual artists. Miller's works have been performed at MISE-EN, La MaMa, Symphony Space, The Knitting Factory, Roulette, CBGB, P.S. 122, Lincoln Center Library, the DiMenna Center, the Hudson River Museum and many other venues, as well as festivals including the NYC Electroacoustic Music Festival, La nuit de l'instant (Marseille, France) and 10 ans de creations au Moulin a Nef (Auvillar, France). His music has been premiered by Miranda Cuckson, Blair McMillen, Ryan Muncy, Eric Huebner, Fred Ho and other notable performers. Miller studied composition with Milton Babbitt and Paul Lansky, as well as clarinet with David Krakauer. A graduate of Oberlin Conservatory, Miller also earned an MFA in composition from Princeton University and an MA in music education from Teachers College, Columbia University. He has received numerous awards and grants including ASCAP, NJSCA, Meet the Composer and the New York Composers Circle Award. Starting in 1989, Miller founded and directed the Inner Ear Music Series at the Brecht Forum and at Greenwich House, producing over seventy concerts of new music by many prominent experimental composers and improvisers.

№5 David Mecionis "Table Canon for Two Clarinetists"  Link to performance

David Mecionis is a self-taught composer, arranger, instrumentalist and music copyist whose work has spanned a wide range of genres. He played guitar in Elliott Sharp’s electric guitar quartet—known as ’Dyners Club—and played drums and bass with God Is My Co-Pilot, Baby Tooth, Mors Syphilitica, The Greys and others. He has written, produced and arranged for artists including Perio, Dominique A, and Godwin Peak. He has played the Knitting Factory, CBGB, Tonic, ABC No Rio, 92nd Street Y and other New York City venues, and performed on tours of the United States, France, and Scandinavia. David's commitment to composition began later in life. His first fully realized classical-style composition, Grand Saxophone Quartet in E-flat minor, was premiered in October 2009 at SUNY Fredonia by the Coleman Prize-winning Mana Quartet, who went on to perform it at a half-dozen other campuses. Obstinate Duet followed, a staunch twelve-tone piece for flute and clarinet, premiered in New Paltz, N.Y. by Marcia Gates and Larry Tietze of the Pone Ensemble for New Music. The past few years have seen the world premieres of Die Sprechmasken von Hofmannsthal for tenor, violin, English horn, bass clarinet and electric guitar; Filidi/Setera for trumpet solo; Ahab for woodwind quintet; and Table Canon for Two Clarinetists, which dedicatees Guido Arbonelli and Natalia Benedetti have continued to perform on tour in Italy. Trio in Two Parts with an Interval Between for oboe, bassoon and viola will receive its New York premiere on May 11, 2020 at Little Church Around the Corner. In late 2016, he began composing under the guidance of Raoul Pleskow, a highly regarded composer of the Wolpe and Wuorinen circles. David serves as Concert Director of the New York Composers Circle, richly enjoying his role as art-music advocate and producer of a yearly series of concerts of new works by a host of member composers.

 Alex Nadzharov. Born in 1983 in Moscow. Began to study music at 7, learning clarinet and piano and later saxophone and electronic music. Studied jazz piano in E. Grechishev class. Graduated Moscow Conservatory, composition department, prof. Yu. Vorontsov's class in 2006, post-graduate course in 2009. Working at Moscow Conservatory Centre for electroacoustic music (CEAMMC, since 2009). Александр Хубеев В настоящее время зам. худ. руководителя Международной Академии Молодых Композиторов в городе Чайковском, сооснователь и куратор Композиторских Курсов reMusik.org в Санкт-Петербурге. Родился 28 декабря 1986 года в Перми. Окончил теоретическое отделение Пермского музыкального училища (2006)[1], окончил Московскую консерваторию имени П. И Чайковского (2011) и аспирантуру МГК (2014) в классах композиции Ю. С. Каспарова и электроакустической музыки И. Л. Кефалиди. Short composer biography: Currently finishing his master degree in electroacoustic/acousmatic composition at Arts, Mons. He makes beats, drum & bass, (under the name of Albe) electroacoustic music, music for drama, film, video installation… He combines all these approaches in his sound. He is open to different types of music.

№4 Todor Todoroff ( FeBeME, Belgium) Requiem for a city 

T. Todorof - electrical Engineer from Université Libre de Bruxelles, he received a First Prize and a Higher Degree in Electroacoustic Composition at the Royal Conservatories in Brussels and Mons. Co-founder and president of ARTeM (Art, Recherche, Technologie et Musique) and FeBeME-BeFEM (Belgian Federation for Electroacoustic Music), co-Founder of Forum des Compositeurs, he was researcher at ULB, Faculté Polytechnique de Mons and Numediart Institute, Professor at ESA-Arts2 and was Belgian representative of EU-COST actions “Digital audio Effects” and “Gesture Controlled Audio Systems". His research focuses on virtual instruments with gestural control. A combination of digital signal processing algorithms, aimed at electroacoustic music, controlled in real time with electronic sensor-based interfaces, with a special attention to mapping. His electroacoustic music shows a special interest for sound spatialisation and new forms of interaction and sound transformation. Fascinated by the dialogue with other art forms, he also composes music for film, video, dance, theatre and sound installation. He collaborates since 1997 with Belgian choreographer Michèle Noiret and worked with visual artists like Marie-Jo Lafontaine, FOAM, Fred Vaillant, Mario Benjamin and Laura Colmenares Guerra. Prizewinner in several international competitions, his music is regularly performed in international festivals.

Scott D. Miller is a New York City-based composer and the Artistic Director of the Tilted Head Ensemble, which he founded in 2016 Miller has written extensively for various classical ensembles and has long explored diverse genres. He has composed musique concrète, electroacoustic music, experimental jazz, structured improvisation and works in collaboration with poets, dramatists and visual artists. Miller's works have been performed at MISE-EN, La MaMa, Symphony Space, The Knitting Factory, Roulette, CBGB, P.S. 122, Lincoln Center Library, the DiMenna Center, the Hudson River Museum and many other venues, as well as festivals including the NYC Electroacoustic Music Festival, La nuit de l'instant (Marseille, France) and 10 ans de créations au Moulin a Nef (Auvillar, France). His music has been premiered by Miranda Cuckson, Blair McMillen, Ryan Muncy, Eric Huebner, Fred Ho and other notable performers. Miller studied composition with Milton Babbitt and Paul Lansky, as well as clarinet with David Krakauer. A graduate of Oberlin Conservatory, Miller also earned an MFA in composition from Princeton University and an MA in music education from Teachers College, Columbia University. He has received numerous awards and grants including ASCAP, NJSCA, Meet the Composer and the New York Composers Circle Award. Starting in 1989, Miller founded and directed the Inner Ear Music Series at the Brecht Forum and at Greenwich House, producing over seventy concerts of new music by many prominent experimental composers and improvisers.

David Mecionis is a self-taught composer, arranger, instrumentalist and music copyist whose work has spanned a wide range of genres. He played guitar in Elliott Sharp’s electric guitar quartet—known as ’Dyners Club—and played drums and bass with God Is My Co-Pilot, Baby Tooth, Mors Syphilitica, The Greys and others. He has written, produced and arranged for artists including Perio, Dominique A, and Godwin Peak. He has played the Knitting Factory, CBGB, Tonic, ABC No Rio, 92nd Street Y and other New York City venues, and performed on tours of the United States, France, and Scandinavia. David's commitment to composition began later in life. His first fully realized classical-style composition, Grand Saxophone Quartet in E-flat minor, was premiered in October 2009 at SUNY Fredonia by the Coleman Prize-winning Mana Quartet, who went on to perform it at a half-dozen other campuses. Obstinate Duet followed, a staunch twelve-tone piece for flute and clarinet, premiered in New Paltz, N.Y. by Marcia Gates and Larry Tietze of the Poné Ensemble for New Music. The past few years have seen the world premieres of Die Sprechmasken von Hofmannsthal for tenor, violin, English horn, bass clarinet and electric guitar; Filidi/Setera for trumpet solo; Ahab for woodwind quintet; and Table Canon for Two Clarinetists, which dedicatees Guido Arbonelli and Natalia Benedetti have continued to perform on tour in Italy. Trio in Two Parts with an Interval Between for oboe, bassoon and viola will receive its New York premiere on May 11, 2020 at Little Church Around the Corner. In late 2016, he began composing under the guidance of Raoul Pleskow, a highly regarded composer of the Wolpe and Wuorinen circles. David serves as Concert Director of the New York Composers Circle, richly enjoying his role as art-music advocate and producer of a yearly series of concerts of new works by a host of member composers.

Николай Хруст - член Союза московских композиторов, преподаватель Московской консерватории. Закончил аспирантуру Московской консерватории (класс В. Тарнопольского). Лауреат международных конкурсов. В 2007 году был одним из композиторов, участвовавших в музыкально-театральном проекте «Boxing Pushkin» (режиссёр Андреа Болл); спектакли поставлены в пяти городах (Амстердам (Muziekgebouw), Гаага (Korzo theater) и др.). В 2010 году Николай Хруст приглашён как резидент электронных студий CIRM (Ницца) и GRAME (Лион), которыми была заказана пьеса Fluting point для флейты, ударных и лайв-электроники.В 2013–2014 годах в Центре им. Вс. Мейерхольда (Москва) создана и поставлена звуковая мистерия «Сотворение мира» (авторы: Н. Анастасьева, Н. Хруст, А. Колейчук, постановка Н. Анастасьевой, музыка Н. Хруста). 

 Rushaniya Nizamutdinova graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory as a composer and was an instructor of a "Digital technologies in music" course at TISBI University. She is a participant of international festivals, such as Music by women (Columbus, Mississippi, USA 2018,2019, 2020), OUA-EMF 2017 (Osaka University Of Arts, Japan) Electroacoustic Music Festival, Sound Thought (Glasgow, UK), The sound projects festival Zeppelin 2016, 2018 (Spain (on the Internet platform)), Acousmonium (Saint-Petersburg 2018-2019), concerts in Germany (Karlsruhe.ZKM), UK (Oscilliscope. Bangor), Syntposium 5, MusikMesse/Prolight + sound exhibition (Moscow), show (on Resonance FM, London, UK), an a winner of a number of competitions (one of which is sound programming), participant of master classes T. Gorbach (Austria) and GRM (France) (Acousmonium). Music was chosen for performance at Mixtape # IWD in Ireland (DkIT), Russian Sound Art Showcase (exhibition of multichannel works) in Berlin (Germany) in frames of Vorspiel / CTM & transmediale. Her compositions have been included in the repertoire of professors J. Mortyakova and V. Bogdan (at Mississippi, Texas, Connecticut, ). Rushaniya played her music on 32-channel Acousmonium. She directs the ensemble of contemporary music and the festival of contemporary art. Rushaniya has publications about International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music CIME-ICEM, light and music scores, etc. She is a bachelor's student in software engineering. Rushaniya writes music on commission for various projects. . The main aim of her participation in different competitions and festivals is to find people who would like to invite her to write for them.

Лилия Владимировна РОДИОНОВА. родилась 01.08.1956г. в с.Лычково Демянского р-на Новгородской области – композитор, окончила Московскую государственную консерваторию им. П.И.Чайковского (1981, класс проф. А.С.Лемана). Там же – аспирантуру. Фортепианная Соната Л.Родионовой получила Первую премию на Всероссийском конкурсе композиторов им.Д. Шостаковича. 

Голубева Екатерина (фортепиано). Лауреат международных конкурсов. Родилась в г.Ростове Ярославской области. В 1998 году закончила Ярославское музыкальное училище ( колледж) им Собинова, фортепианное отделение, класс Левашовой Галины Алексеевны. В 2004 году закончила Московский Педагогический Государственный Университет , специализация ,,фортепиано", в классе профессора Каузовой Аллы Григорьевны. Затем,в период с 2004 по 20013гг. прошла несколько  стажировок в Московской Консерватории в классе специального фортепиано,у Народной Артистки, профессора Федоровой Маргариты Алексеевны. В период обучения и после него,участвовала в международных конкурсах,мастер- классах, выступала как солистка с  Ярославским симфоническим оркестром, а также сольно и в составе различных ансамблей в городах России и ближнего зарубежья. Преподавала фортепиано в Международном Славянском  институте, в Дмш#92 г.Москвы и ДМШ #2 г.Реутова(Московская область). Соавтор статьи об изучении и исполнении полифонических произведений( совместно с проф.Каузовой А.Г.),опубликованной в сборнике научных статей МПГУ. Лауреат международного конкурса молодых исполнителей " Крымская весна" г.Ялта, 2002год.,2премия. Лауреат Всероссийского конкурса ансамблей в г.Вологда,2004 год, 1премия,(фортепианный ансамбль с Ириной Носовой). Дипломант международного конкурса "Романтизм : истоки и горизонты"г.Москва, 2013 и 2017 год. Лауреат 3 степени международного конкурса "Мелодия любви" в г.Ярославль, 2018 год. Лауреат 1 степени международного конкурса "New times" г.Суздаль,ноябрь 2018г. В марте 2018 г. и в апреле 2919 была председателем жюри 1-го открытого городского  конкурса ансамблевой музыки в г.Новополоцке( Беларусь). В настоящее время обучается в ассистентуре- стажировке в МГИМ им.Шнитке, в классе Николаевой- Солдатенковой Татьяны Борисовны ,а также продолжает заниматься концертной деятельностью.

Татьяна Борисовна Николаева-Солдатенкова -лауреат международных конкурсов, в том числе: III Международный конкурс пианистов «Premia Euterpe», Corato (Bari, Италия). I премия (2009) Венский международный музыкальный конкурс (Австрия). I премия(2008) Сан - Бартоломео (Италия). II премия и серебряная медаль Родилась в семье музыкантов. Первым учителем была ее мама, Анна Николаева (пианистка, ученица Г.Г. Нейгауза). Обучалась в ЦМШ при Московской консерватории (классы Т.Л.Колосс и В.А.Алешечкиной). Многие годы поддерживала творческую связь с О.Я. Ступаковой. Окончила с отличием музыкальный факультет МПГУ (класс профессора А.Г. Каузовой) и ассистентуру-стажировку МГК (класс профессора А. А. Наседкина (ассистенты: П.Федотова, Д.Тетерин, Д. Чефанов)). Преподает на межфакультетской кафедре фортепиано. Ведет активную концертную деятельность, дает мастер-классы в России и Европе. Выступает с оркестрами «Времена года» (дирижер – Владислав Булахов), «Cantus Firmus» (дирижер – Александр Хургин), Румынский государственный филармонический оркестр (дирижер – Овидио Балан). Работает в качестве члена жюри различных международных конкурсов. Является руководителем концертного отдела Клуба фонда культуры Правительства Москвы в Горках-8. В 2008 году окончила аспирантуру Московской государственную консерваторию имени П.И. Чайковского класс профессора А.А. Наседкина (ассистенты: П. Федотова, Д. Тетерин, Д. Чефанов) (Диплом № 07-041). В 2014 году закончила факультет психологии и педагогики МПГУ по специальности «Практическая психология». В 2015 году защитила кандидатскую диссертацию на тему: «Формирование художественных эмоций учащихся в процессе обучения музыке (на примере занятий со студентами педагогического вуза)» по специальности: 13.00.02 – теория и методика обучения и воспитания (музыка). С 2016 года является преподавателем на кафедре фортепианного искусства (специальное фортепиано) в Московском государственном институте музыки им. А.Г. Шнитке. Дискография В 2010 году в Австрии вышел DVD диск с произведениями И.Брамса и С.Прокофьева.

Performer Biographies 

 The Second Prize Winners at the 2017 Ellis Duo Piano Competition, the Mortyakova/Bogdan piano duo (Julia Mortyakova and Valentin M. Bogdan) has appeared across the US and Europe, performing two piano, piano four-hand works, and concerti. They have performed at numerous conferences and festivals including the Moscow Autumn International Festival (Moscow, Russia), Festival Spread Spectrum (Kazan Russia), Transilvania University Concert Series (Brasov, Romania), Assisi Performing Arts (Italy). In the United States, they have performed at Music by Women International Festival (Columbus, MS), Festival Miami (Miami, Florida), Women Composers Festival of Hartford (Connecticut), Fair Lane Music Guild (Michigan), Lamar University Duet and Duo Piano Festival (Texas), Clayton Piano Festival (virtual Home Concert for Hope), and at many conferences and concerts held by the National Association of Composers USA (NACUSA), College Music Society, Music Teachers National Association, and the National Federation of Music Clubs. They have appeared as duo piano soloists with the Assisi Performing Arts Festival Orchestra in Italy, and the Starkville Symphony Orchestra in Columbus, Mississippi. They have recently released a duo piano album, “Journey for Two” which currently streams on Amazon, Apple Music, Spotify and many other streaming services. 

 Pianist and composer Valentin Mihai Bogdan is Associate Professor of Music at Mississippi University for Women. He has won awards at national and international competitions, including the Ellis Two Piano Competition (2017), Varna International Piano Competition (2008), Wayne State Concerto Competition, and many more. The past two summers, along his colleague Dr. Julia Mortyakova, he concertized in Russia, Romania, and Italy (including concerts at the Russian Union of Composers (Moscow, Russia), Prokofiev Museum (Moscow, Russia), at Spectrum Festival (Kazan, Russia), Aula Sergiu T. Chiriacescu (Transilvania University, Romania), Sala Patria (Brasov, Romania) and Assisi Performing Arts in Italy. Throughout his career he has performed in Europe, Asia, and North America, including France, England, Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Jordan, Canada, and the US. He has performed on stages and festivals throughout the world, including Oregon Bach Festival, Festival Miami, American-Romanian Festival, National Association of Composers USA Festival, and many more. He was a soloist with the Starkville Symphony Orchestra, Assisi Performing Arts Orchestra, Wayne State Symphony Orchestra, and Arizona Western College Concert Band. He was the winner of an Artist Fellowship from the Mississippi Arts Commission (2018). His compositions were performed in Europe and North America, at the Assisi Festival of Performing Arts (Italy), Festival Miami, Music at MOCA Concert Series, the Oregon Bach Festival, and concerts hosted the College Music Society, NACUSA, the Society of Composers Inc., and the International Trumpet Guild. His music was premiered by musicians of the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra, Beta Collide, GSU Wind Ensemble, Grambling Chorale, Black Bayou Brass Trio, and the AWC Wind Ensemble. He was commissioned by trumpeters James Zingara, Randall Sorensen, the University of Alabama Birmingham Trumpet Ensemble, the Starkville-MSU Symphony, and the AWC Concert Band. He was commissioned by the Dranoff Two Piano Foundation of Miami. Valentin was named the 2010 Florida State Music Teachers Association commissioned composer of the year, and the 2015 Mississippi Music Teachers Association commissioned composer. He is a graduate of Wayne State University, Michigan State University, and University of Miami with degrees in piano as well as music composition. 

 2017 Mississippi Honored Artist, pianist Julia Mortyakova has performed around the world: Assisi Performing Arts (Italy), Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity (Canada), Musica Nueva Malaga (Spain), Symphonic Workshops (Bulgaria), Festival Spread Spectrum (Russia), Sala Patria (Romania), Prokofiev Museum (Russia), Yaroslavl Art Museum (Russia), Zhytomyr's Musical Spring (Ukraine), Aspen Music Festival, Clayton Piano Festival, College Music Society (regional and national conferences), Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), Natchez Festival of Music, National Association of Composers USA (NACUSA) (regional and national conferences) and Women Composers Festival of Hartford. She has appeared numerous times as piano soloist with the Assisi (Italy) and Starkville Symphony orchestras. Dr. Mortyakova is Professor and Chair of the Department of Music at the Mississippi University for Women and the Founder/Artistic Director of the Music by Women Festival. Julia is a laureate of the 2014 American Prize for her performance Cecile Chaminade, and the winner of the 2012 Sigma Alpha Iota Career Performance Grant. The 2018 concert season included recitals throughout Italy, Romania, Russia, and concerto soloist appearances with the Assisi Performing Arts (Italy) (Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and Poulenc’s Two Piano Concerto), Starkville Symphony Orchestra (Mozart’s Two Piano Concerto in E flat Major with Valentin Bogdan), and Yaroslavl Academic Gubernatorial Philharmonic Orchestras (Concertstucke by Cecile Chaminade and Piano Concerto No. 2 by Olga Harris). The 2019 concert season includes solo, duo piano, and concerto soloist performances around the United States as well as in Russia, Romania and Italy. Dr. Mortyakova’s research focuses on the existentialism of Jean-Paul Sartre and the life of Cecile Chaminade. She regularly presents papers at state, regional, national and international conferences and festivals. Equally active in the life of her colleagues, she serves as Vice-Chair of the National Association of the Schools of Music Region 8, President Elect of College Music Society Southern Region and is an on-site evaluator on behalf of the NASM Commission on Accreditation. Dr. Mortyakova is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, Vanderbilt University, New York University, and the University of Miami.
