Passepartout Duo (Nicoletta Favari, Christopher Salvito)

Passepartout Duo is a music group comprised of pianist Nicoletta Favari and percussionist Christopher Salvito. Making music that escapes categorization, the duo’s ongoing travel around the world informs the multi-disciplinary collaborations, instrumental compositions, and evocative music videos that constitute their body of work. The musical events they create focus on reconsidering the modalities in which people listen to and connect with music, and are cast from a wide range of aesthetics and disciplines.

Scott D. Miller is a New York City-based composer and Artistic Director of the Tilted Head Ensemble, which he founded in 2016 Miller has written extensively for various classical ensembles and has long explored diverse genres. He has composed electroacoustic music, experimental jazz, structured improvisation and works in collaboration with poets, dramatists and visual artists. Miller's works have been performed at MISE-EN, La MaMa, Symphony Space, The Knitting Factory, Roulette, CBGB, P.S. 122, Lincoln Center Library, The DiMenna Center, the Hudson River Museum and many other venues, as well as festivals including the NYC Electroacoustic Music Festival, La nuit de l'instant (Marseille, France), 10 ans de créations au Moulin a Nef (Auvillar, France) and SpreadSpectrum (Moscow, Russia). His music has been premiered by Miranda Cuckson, Blair McMillen, Ryan Muncy, Eric Huebner, Fred Ho and other notable performers. Miller studied composition with Milton Babbitt and Paul Lansky, as well as clarinet with David Krakauer. A graduate of Oberlin Conservatory, Miller also earned an MFA in composition from Princeton University and an MA in music education from Teachers College, Columbia University. He has received numerous awards and grants including ASCAP, NJSCA, Meet the Composer and the New York Composers Circle Award.

Catherine Neville, composer, clarinetist and educator, joined the New York Composers Circle in 2017 In addition to collaborating with violinist Dan Flanagan during the COVID-19 quarantine, Mrs. Neville’s music was recently selected by the Quintessential Quintet, of Seattle, Washington, for their virtual residency. Her music has premiered at the National Opera Center and The Little Church Around the Corner in Manhattan, was featured on “The Muse’s Voice” concert series at Barnard College in 2019, and has been performed at several venues on Long Island. Her work was selected by the Birmingham Art Music Alliance for a performance

 Christopher Sahar is a New York City-based composer, pianist, and organist. He has studied theory, composition, and piano at Oberlin Conservatory, Juilliard Evening Division, and Queens College/CUNY. Mr. Sahar has been a member of the composer collective New York Composers Circle since 2016 and has had performances of his works throughout the U.S., Greece, and Russia. He writes: the work “Mysteries and Hysterics” for two cellos was written as an immediate reflection upon the confusion and franticness I observed in New York City as it rushed to implement quarantine measures in the face of COVID-19. I wrote the cello parts as a heated, dramatic dialogue that seems to promise calm before a sudden and aggressive stop to the piece.

Eric Heilner, a life-long rock & roll keyboardist, finds himself venturing into the classical composition field for reasons that he does not fully understand. Although he spends most of his musical time composing chamber music, he still plays in various clubs and seedy bars in New Jersey.

Jacob Elkin is a New York City-based musician, composer and educator. His music emphasizes a contemporary approach through microtonality and electronic spatialization. 

30) Robert S. Cohen — Do Not Enter for tuba and piano. Performed by — Tim Buzbee, tuba; Stefan Cassomenos, piano. This performance was recorded in Australia on 24 April, during the COVID-19 lockdown. 

Robert S. Cohen has written music for chorus, orchestra, chamber ensemble, dance and theatre and has been the recipient of numerous awards and commissions, including a New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowship, Hong Kong Children’s Choir’s International Composition competition, several commissions from the Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale, an American Music Center Grant, Meet the Composer Awards, New York Composer’s Circle Award and several grants from the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation. Bob has also received awards from the New England String Quartet, the Harrisburg Gay Men’s Choir, the Chicago Ensemble, and New Opera West. His works have been performed in such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall, Severance Hall, Berlin’s Kammermusiksaal, the Kimmel Center, Symphony Space, Bargemusic, the Sofia Opera House and the Beijing National Center for the Performing Arts. Alzheimer’s Stories—for soloists, chorus and large ensemble, with a libretto by Grammy winning librettist Herschel Garfein—has been performed over 40 times in major cities throughout the U.S. and Europe and was the featured work at the 2019 ACDA National Conference. Bob also co-authored the book and composed the score for the 2000 Richard Rodgers award winning Off-Broadway musical Suburb.

Tim Buzbee "is a fine musician who can make his tuba variously sing like a violin and bark like an angered dog, and touch all those bases in between. His sense of phrasing is as astonishing as his sense of his instrument's tone coloring" raved Fanfare Magazine about Tim's debut solo cd, BUZZED. In 2011, Tim joined the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra as principal tuba. Besides the Melbourne Symphony Tim has held the same position with many orchestras including Iceland Symphony, Malmo Symphony, Gävle Symphony, Singapore Symphony, Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and the Acapulco Philharmonic. Tim has won jobs in 8 different countries! Buzbee has been invited to perform as guest tubist with many other orchestras including the Chicago Symphony, Danish Radio Orchestra, Swedish Radio Orchestra, Sydney Symphony, Hong Kong Philharmonic, Western Australia Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Wind Symphony, Malaysia Philharmonic and the Helsingborg Symphony among others. In 2017, Buzbee was asked to play with The Louisville Orchestra as Acting Principal Tuba. 

Stefan Cassomenos. Melbourne pianist and composer Stefan Cassomenos is one of Australia’s most vibrant and versatile musicians. Stefan has performed internationally since the age of 10, and performed the premiere of his own composition Piano Concerto No 1: Aegean Odyssey with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra at the age of 16 More recently, he has performed concertos with the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Queensland Symphony Orchestra, and Orchestra Victoria. Stefan now gives regular solo recitals and concerto performances throughout Australia, Europe, and Asia, having appeared as a soloist in St Petersburg, Tallinn, Warsaw, Krakow, Bonn, Athens, Rome, Milan, Amsterdam, London, Bangkok, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Tokyo. Performances in 2014–15 include recitals in Zurich (Tonhalle), Leipzig (Gewandhaus), Bonn, Weimar, Ludwigshafen, Kirchheimbolanden, Malta, London and throughout the U.K., and concertos with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, Melbourne Chamber Orchestra, Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra, and Corpus Medicorum.

Hubert Howe was educated at Princeton University, where he studied with J. K. Randall, Godfrey Winham and Milton Babbitt, and from which he received the A.B., M.F.A. and Ph.D. Degrees. He was one of the first researchers in computer music, and became Professor of Music and Director of the Electronic Music studios at Queens College of the City University of New York. He also taught at the Juilliard School from 1974 to 1994 In 1988-89 he held the Endowed Chair in Music at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. From 1989 to 1998, 2001 to 2002, and Fall 2007, he was Director of the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College. He is a member of the Society of Composers, Inc., the American Composers Alliance, the International Computer Music Association, SEAMUS, the Long Island Composers Alliance, and the New York Composers Circle. In 2009, he founded the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, and he continues as Director. Recordings of his computer music have been released by Capstone Records (Overtone Music, CPS-8678, Filtered Music, CPS-8719, and Temperamental Music and Created Sounds, CPS- 8771), Ravello Records (Clusters, RR 7817), and Centaur Records (Harmonic and Inharmonic Fantasies, CRC 3579).

Hubert Howemore

The ensemble of contemporary academic music and multimedia "Spread spectrum" (the artistic Director - R. Nizamutdinova) - winners of international competitions of performers. They performed at international and Russian festivals in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan. Our team has also been presenting multimedia performances since 2019. The ensemble consists of winners of international competitions, graduates of conservatories, post-graduate performers-instrumentalists and vocalists. The younger performer is 17 years old, and the older musician is more than 40. The ensemble specializes in the performance of modern academic music, the repertoire of the group includes works by domestic and foreign composers of the 20-21 centuries and several works of the Baroque era. The ensemble performs with session musicians from Moscow and St. Petersburg. Linda A. Marcel’s compositions have been performed internationally, in New York City; in Rome, Milan, Adria, Perugia, Bevagna, and Bari, Italy; Potsdam, Germany; Malaga and Seville, Spain; Paris, France; and Oxford, England. She is a music professional who graduated from Brigham Young University and Crane School of Music, State University of New York at Potsdam, and received a doctorate in music from Columbia University. She is an adjunct music professor at the University of Rome, Tor Vergata 2011-present. Awards include the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development—Excellence in Teaching Award, and the MCFP Princeton University Fellowship Program. Linda is an active member of the New York Women Composers and the New York Composers Circle. Her work supports digital media, dance, drama and music performance while exploring techniques of multimedia performance. She is dedicated to educational collaborations with institutions world-wide.

Lisa Naugle is a choreographer, interactive performance artist and educator. At the University of California, Irvine, she is Professor in the Dance Department and Director of International Initiatives for Claire Trevor School of the Arts. Former Chair of the Department of Dance (2008-18), Lisa earned her MFA from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts and Ph.D. from NYU, Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions. As choreographer and performer, she has presented work in Eastern and Western Europe, Asia, South and North America. In 2016-17 Lisa was selected as the Overseas Master Teacher Artist for Shanghai University and was the first American choreographer to present at the Shanghai International Dance Center. She has been recognized for her solo dance improvisation performances, choreography with live video (Active Space interactive system conceived and developed by John Crawford), and her long-term, international collaborations with composers and interdisciplinary productions. In 2009, she founded DTM2 Improvisation Ensemble, a dance company with performances in Italy, Spain, China and New York. In her new role as Director of International Initiatives at UCI she develops inter-institutional collaborations cultural diversity, creative activity and exchange opportunities.

John Crawford is an intermedia artist, performance director and technology developer. He uses computers and video to create rich immersive environments for live performance involving dance, theatre and music, as well as gallery exhibitions and public art installations, dedicated to providing diverse communities with engaging and meaningful opportunities for embodied interaction through advanced media technologies. He originated the “Active Space” concept in 1994 for the intermedia software framework upon which these projects are built, and which he has continued to evolve and develop for over twenty-five years. He is Professor of Intermedia Arts at University of California, Irvine, where he initiated and directs the UCI Emergent Media + Design Institute. His work has been shown across North America and in Asia, Europe and South America, and he’s been a visiting artist and researcher at numerous universities and other venues in the United States, Europe, China, Japan and India. Prior to working as a professor, he led a dual life, alternating between parallel vocations: theatre artist and software developer. As a theatre director and actor, he studied with Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. As a software developer, his credits include projects for Adobe, Microsoft and other companies.

Dary John Mizelle has been pursuing an infinite vision of music since the 1960’s. He earned a B.A., M.A. and PhD in California universities with the mentors: Larry Austin, Richard Swift, Jerome Rosen, Karlheinz Stockhausen, David Tudor, Roger Reynolds, Robert Erickson, Pauline Oliveros and Kenneth Gaburo. He has composed more than 600 compositions as well as 40 jazz tunes. He is currently working on the SPANDA project of 320 hours of music. He makes his home in Westchester County, New York and studies yoga and meditation.

Patricia Leonard. A native of Boston, Patricia Leonard’s early musical training began with piano studies, followed by composition studies at The New England Conservatory. She received a degree in Composition from The Boston Conservatory of Music and continued orchestration studies at The Juilliard School. Principal composition teachers include Larry Thomas Bell and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer David Del Tredeci. Ms. Leonard’s works have been performed in major cities in the U.S. and Europe, interpreted by celebrated musicians from the New York Philharmonic, Zurich Opera, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and Boston Symphony, and featured soloists such as Grammy Award-winning clarinetist Eddie Daniels, Met Opera soprano Wendy Bryn Harmer and renowned contemporary music pianist Christopher Oldfather. Ms. Leonard is the recipient of distinguished awards from Opera America, The Music Performance Trust Fund and the American Prize for her opera My Dearest Friend, based on the letters of John and Abigail Adams.

Kevin McCarter writes music for orchestra, chamber ensembles, chorus, solo instruments, and voice. Opening Ideas was premiered by the Chicago Chamber Orchestra, recorded by the Kiev Philharmonic, and subsequently broadcast by a number of radio stations. Other works that have received substantial attention include Blossoms and a Breeze, played by several woodwind trios in the U.S. and Canada, and Three Songs on Poems of Emily Dickinson, sung on recitals in Paris, Vienna, and Rome in addition to programs in the U.S. Recent works include Come Along, premiered by the Euclid Quartet at the Mostly Modern Festival, and Songs of Day and Evening, presented on a New York Composers Circle concert last year.

 Paul Aljian. Although primarily self-taught in composition and improvisation, Paul Aljian has studied music theory and counterpoint as well as percussion performance. He writes expressive music for small ensembles of standard orchestral instruments using both tonal and serial approaches. His initial musical activities were performance related, freelancing as a percussionist/drummer for musical theater and other venues and later performing with Persian classical and traditional Armenian ensembles. He is a member of the New York Composers Circle.

The Flauto d'Amore Project 

Ginevra Petrucci, flauto d'amore. Ginevra is a flutist, performer, collaborative artist and advocate of new music projects. She has appeared as a soloist throughout Europe, the Americas and the Far East, released numerous highly acclaimed recordings, and premiered many contemporary works. In 2019, 

Nathan Hudson and she started the Flauto d’Amore Project, an endeavor aimed to create new repertoire through commissions and collaborations with diverse musical entities. www.ginevrapetrucci.com Nathan Hudson, flugelhorn. Nathan is an award-winning composer and educator whose music takes on small gestures and attempts to push them to their limits, often up to their breaking points. As a curator Nathan has collaborated with author Ben Loory and the saxophone quartet ~Nois, as well as MISE-EN_PLACE Bushwick, to present cross-disciplinary concerts of new music.

The electroacoustic duet Nizamutdinova/ Golikov is a musical technological project. The performers of the Duo are participants of international festivals, winners of international competitions, have orders abroad. They played their music at such venues as museums, theaters, concert halls, universities in Russia and Europe.

Nikolay Golikov is a programmer, a sound artist. He performs on modular synthesizers of his own creation (as developer). 

R. Nizamutdinova is a composer (and project manager). She creates synthesis and sound processing on a laptop by using different DAWs, programming environments and soundscapes. 

The genre in which the musicians work is electroacoustic improvisation using the latest technologies. The recorded sounds are modified on the computer, the generated frequencies are layered on them. Different timbres of the modular synthesizer sound are against this background and woven into the electronic sound palette. The Duo was founded in 2019 In the next few years we hope to win several competitions called "Artist in residence" to work and perform our sound projects in the institutions of the studies of electroacoustic music and technological art. We also are open for invitations to festivals and concerts as performers of avant-garde music and program designers of technological art. Boris Shershenkov (b. 1990, Vladivostok, Russia) - sound artist, PhD (candidate of technical sciences) and musical instrument designer. Focusing on projects that develop new methodologies in technological and sound art, he investigates the relationship between human and technology combining modern techniques with media archaeological research. Boris is engaged in various activities in the field of experimental music and sound art as the author of numerous media installations and sound performances and curator of concert programs, exhibitions and educational projects. As a musician, he is actively working in the areas of live electronics and electroacoustic improvisation, both solo and in collaboration with Russian and foreign musicians. His works were presented at the exhibitions in the NCCA, the Electromuseum, the Museum of Musical Culture (Moscow), the Sound Museum, the Elaginoostrovsky Palace Museum, Manege Central Exhibition Hall, A.S. Popov Central Museum of Communications (St. Petersburg), the Sirius Center (Sochi), as well as in the framework of various festivals such as Dark Sounds in White Nights, Cyfest 11, Acousmonium, 101.Mediapoetry (St. Petersburg), Prepared Wednesdays, Geometry of the Now (Moscow), Ars Electronica 2015 (Lintz, Austria), Hors Normes (Le Pont, Switzerland), Art Fair Suomi (Helsinki, Finland).

Dan Flanagan currently serves as Concertmaster of the Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera, Concertmaster of the Modesto Symphony, Concertmaster of West Edge Opera, Concertmaster of Opera Paralléle, and Instructor of Violin at University of California, Berkeley. Flanagan has performed as concertmaster with the Oakland Symphony, Santa Rosa Symphony, California Symphony, California Musical Theater, Festival Opera of Walnut Creek, Symphony Silicon Valley, and Symphony Napa Valley. He performs with the San Francisco Opera and Ballet and records film and television soundtracks with the Skywalker Symphony Orchestra. His original compositions have been performed throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. The Swedenborgian Church of San Francisco commissioned him to compose a piece for their 125th anniversary and he's been invited to perform his work Nue aux Cheveux Roux at the Museé Jean-Jacques Henner in Paris, France. In the time of COVID-19, he founded the YouTube series Corona Quarantine Concerts, where he performs solo violin works in front of paintings in his private collection. The repertoire includes classic works, recent works, his own compositions, and new works he's commissioned. When the pandemic subsides, he will perform a solo recital at University of California Berkeley, premiering all the pieces he commissioned and composed while sheltering.

Eugene Marlow, Ph.D., MBA, is a composer/arranger, producer, presenter, performer, author/journalist, and educator. He has written 300+ classical and jazz compositions for solo instruments, chamber groups, and jazz big band. His indie label, MEII Enterprises, has released 33 CDs and single tracks of his original compositions and arrangements. His big band charts appear on four Grammy-nominated albums. Marlow is founder/leader/pianist of The Heritage Ensemble (quintet) that performs his original compositions and arrangements in various jazz, Afro-Caribbean, Brazilian, and classical styles. The group has released eight albums. The New York City Jazz Record describes The Heritage Ensemble as “A cross-cultural collaboration that spins and grooves.” Dr. Marlow received a 2010 “Meet the Composer” grant for his work with The Heritage Ensemble. Marlow was senior curator (2000-2018) of the Milt Hinton Jazz Perspectives concert series at Baruch College (The City University of New York), where he teaches courses in media and culture. Author of 12 books and 400+ articles, his book Jazz in China was acclaimed as one of the “five best books on jazz” in 2019 by the Jazz Journalists Association. Dr. Marlow was a recipient of the 2010 James W. Carey award for journalism excellence from the Media Ecology Association.

 Dmitry Shubin is a musician and artist based in St.Petersburg, Russia. He works in various fields of contemporary music, from free-jazz collaborations to solo work with electronics and sound-art projects. He is a creator of various projects in the field of contemporary improvised music (St. Petersburg Improvisers Orchestra, School of improvisational music, Sound Theater, etc.). He is also an art director of the St. Petersburg Sound Museum. In 2016 he was awarded with the Grand Prix of S. Kurekhin Art Prize (St.Petersburg). In his solo piano performances, Dmitry Shubin works with the timbre resonances of the piano “body”, identified and structured by real-time electronics. He uses a wide variety of piano playing techniques, as well as the electronic processing of piano sound using granular synthesis.

Timothy Lee Miller is an American composer, arranger, orchestrator, and publisher writing contemporary concert music for chamber ensembles, orchestra, wind ensemble, and voice, as well as jazz, film, and video game music. He has earned degrees from the University of Tennessee, the University of Miami, and Vermont College of Fine Arts. His principle composition teachers have been John Anthony Lennon, James Progris, Tamar Diesendruck, Jonathan Bailey Holland, Andy Jaffe, John Fitz Rogers, and Roger Zahab. He has received numerous commissions and awards, including several ASCAP awards. His works have been performed throughout the U.S. and Europe. Most recently, on September 27, 2019 at the prestigious Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, his string trio Carmina solis et lunae was among several works featured as part of the Musical Bridges concert exchange program between NYCC and Russian composers. Нина Синякова ( США- Беларусь) - одна из самых ярких музыкантов своего поколения. Выступала как композитор и пианистка в ООН, Карнеги Холле, Залах Санкт-Петербургской филармонии, Московской консерватории, Бетховен-Хаус в Бонне, джазовом клубе Zink в Нью-Йорке Победитель конкурса Андрея Петрова в Санкт-Петербурге ( Первая премия и Приз зрительских симпатий за Концерт для двух скрипок с оркестром), лауреат премий Правительства Санкт-Петебурга, стипендиат немецкой программы DAAD, нью-йоркской программы Exploring the Metropolis и многих других. Ансамбль современной академической музыки «Spread spectrum» («Расширение спектра») - лауреаты международного и всероссийских конкурсов исполнителей. Коллектив выступал на международном и всероссийских фестивалях в г. Москве, Санкт-Петербурге и Казани.  Коллектив представляет также мультимедийные перформансы с 2019 года. Группа «STUDIUM» - казанский музыкальный коллектив, представляющий современное направление «music crossover». Состав группы: Татьяна Гордеева (сопрано), Илья Бажин (фортепиано), Дмитрий Гордеев (барабаны, перкуссия), Сергей Беликов (композитор). Программа включает оригиналы и обработки творений барочных итальянских композиторов, а также образцы обработок популярных произведений зарубежной классики ХVII-XIХ веков Скарлатти, Баха, Моцарта, Бетховена и др. для сопрано, фортепиано и перкуссии, осуществленные современным композитором С. А. Беликовым. Музыканты являются лауреатами международных конкурсов выпускниками Казанских и Московских музыкальных ВУЗов, преподают концертируют.

7) Газинур Рахматуллин.  Сathedral. 

Газинур Рахматуллин  - свободный художник, работающий в самых разных жанрах: это компьютерное изобразительное искусство, академическая графика и живопись, шоу-видеохроника и неигровое кино, саундмейкинг, иллюстрированные эссе о путешествиях и культуре, фоторепортажи. Родился в 1960 г. Проживает в Казани. Образование техническое. Выйдя с 2004 г. в отставку после службы на инженерных и начальствующих должностях в системе обеспечения безопасности силовых структур, стал заниматься исключительно тем, что нравится: много путешествует и необычно интерпретирует в своих работах реалии нашего мира. Многие сотни его кадров иллюстрируют карту мира Google Earth от Тихого океана до Атлантики и от Арктики до Средиземноморья. Внештатно сотрудничает с рядом СМИ Республики Татарстан.

5) Frederick Boyle — Electric Slonimsky #1 for electronics. Performed by — Frederick Boyle, computer and fixed media 

Frederick Boyle earned degrees in music composition from California Institute of the Arts (BFA) and the New England Conservatory (MM). His composition teachers include Stephen Mosko, Morton Subotnick, Thomas McKinley, and Robert Cogan. Frederick also has a Master of Divinity degree from Drew University School of Theology and is a retired ordained minister in the United Methodist Church. Before becoming an ordained minister, Frederick composed music for television, radio, and modern dance, while also working as a freelance jazz and classical musician. His collaborations include WGBH in Boston, KPFK in Los Angeles, the Gus Solomon Dance Company in Los Angeles, and Dance Collective in Boston. Frederick retired from full-time parish ministry in 2015 to devote more time to composing and seeking performances of his work. He continues to serve as a Spiritual Director in New Jersey. His recent compositions have been performed in venues all over New York and in L'Viv, Ukraine.

Robert S. Cohen has written music for chorus, orchestra, chamber ensemble, dance and theatre and has been the recipient of numerous awards and commissions, including a New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowship, Hong Kong Children’s Choir’s International Composition competition, several commissions from the Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale, an American Music Center Grant, Meet the Composer Awards, New York Composer’s Circle Award and several grants from the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation. Bob has also received awards from the New England String Quartet, the Harrisburg Gay Men’s Choir, the Chicago Ensemble, and New Opera West. His works have been performed in such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall, Severance Hall, Berlin’s Kammermusiksaal, the Kimmel Center, Symphony Space, Bargemusic, the Sofia Opera House and the Beijing National Center for the Performing Arts. Alzheimer’s Stories—for soloists, chorus and large ensemble, with a libretto by Grammy winning librettist Herschel Garfein—has been performed over 40 times in major cities throughout the U.S. and Europe and was the featured work at the 2019 ACDA National Conference. Bob also co-authored the book and composed the score for the 2000 Richard Rodgers award winning Off-Broadway musical Suburb.

Craig Ketter has performed as soloist with symphony orchestras all around the United States. His solo concerts have taken him to many concert halls throughout the Americas and Europe. Complementing his solo performances with collaborative ventures, Mr. Ketter regularly joins forces with international singers, chamber groups and other soloists. He began piano studies at the age of seven, giving his first solo recital at the age of ten. Shortly thereafter, he began to win top prizes in numerous competitions, culminating in winning first prizes in the Bartok- Kabalevsky-Prokofiev International Piano Competition as well as others. Mr. Ketter received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the Eastman School of Music and went on to post- graduate studies at Julliard. Complementing his performing with teaching, Mr. Ketter has served on faculty of various U.S. universities and has presented master classes throughout the United States and Argentina.

Леонид Зволинский - композитор, саундартист. С 2018 года - один из авторов в научно-просветительском исследовательском проекте "Hearing X" при NTT Communication Science Labratories (Япония), научный руководитель Макио Касино (Makio Kashino). Проект с разных позиций исследует специфику восприятия звука человеческим слухом. Леонид Зволинский создаёт музыкальные композиции с комментариями, демонстрируя различные явления звукового восприятия, такие как аудио-иллюзии и другие. С октября 2019 года проходит обучение в Лаборатории Сугуру Гото Токийского университета искусств на факультете Аудио-музыкального творчества. Родился в Рязани. До переезда в Японию в 2017 году, жил в Москве. Выпускник композиторского факультета Московской консерватории (2014 г, класс проф. В.Г. Агафонникова), кафедры Теории музыки Колледжа имени Гнесиных (2008 г), факультета звукорежиссура аудиовизуальных искусств Института кино и телевидения (ГИТР, 2015 г, дополнительное образование). 

 X-SynapseL для блокфлейты и лайв-электроники - пьеса о внутренней коммуникации, об искажениях при передаче информации, а так же о последствиях, когда в результате таких трансформаций накапливается критическое количество ошибок. Попытка найти исходные смыслы порождает движение, неизбежно уводящее всё дальше в сторону. Три элемента в самом начале пьесы - ритмическое движение, акцент и длинный звук с модуляцией - получают развитие, трансформируются, постепенно смешиваются и образуют новые формы. Партия электроники происходит из взаимовлияния с партией флейты, создавая подобие синаптических связей между музыкальными элементами.
